Michael
J. Celeste, Jr., Esq.
Mike received
his B.A. in American Studies form Wesleyan University, Middle
town, Ct. in 1975. He attended graduate school at the University
of Massachusetts and Boston College from 1978 through 1980. Mike
graduated with Honors from Nova Law School in 1986. Mike was President
of the Student Chapter of ATLA (American Trial Lawyers Association)
and represented Nova in the Southern Region Mock Trial competitions.
Mike was the first recipient of the Krupnick & Campbell, P.A.
award presented to the outstanding student trial advocate.
Mike was admitted
to the Florida Bar in 1986. He has been licensed to practice before
the United States District Court, Southern Division since 1995.
Mike is a
member of the Florida Bar Association, Palm Beach County and St.
Lucie County Bar Associations, Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers
Association, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, Florida Workers
Advocates and American Trial Lawyers Association.
Mike has been
a Board Certified Workers Compensation Attorney since 1998. Mike
has been a trial attorney in Palm Beach County, Florida for seventeen
years. Mike was assistant State Attorney in the 15th Judicial
Circuit from 1986-1989. He then practiced for three years in a
personal injury firm and five years in a Workers Compensation
Firm before opening Michael J. Celeste, Jr. P.A., in 1997, Practicing
in the areas of Workers Compensation, Personal Injury, Social
Security Disability and Employment Discrimination.
Philip
G. Thompson, Esq.
Phil was a
member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society at Auburn University
and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Auburn in 1992. Phil attended
the University of Florida College of Law and graduated with Honors
in 1995. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1996 and licensed
to practice before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals that
same year. He was also licensed to practice before the U.S. District
Court for both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida in
1996 and 1998 respectively.
Phil is a
member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Florida Bar as well
as the Trial Lawyers and Workers Compensation Section of the Florida
Bar. He is also a member of the Palm Beach, North Palm Beach and
St. Lucie County Bar Associations, as well as the Palm Beach County
Trial Lawyers Association, Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers and
Florida Workers Advocates.
Phil has eight
years of trial experience in the areas of Personal Injury, Workers
Compensation and Social Security Disability. As Phil is a former
defense attorney who spent several years representing insurance
carriers on injury claims, he brings to the table a unique perspective
and a significant advantage in the evaluation
and prosecution of all personal injury claims.
Charles
D. Thomas, Esq.
Chuck received
his B.S. Degree in Political Science from Shepherd College and
graduated Cum Laude in 1995. Chuck attended Nova Southeastern
University and graduated in 1999. Chuck served on the Moot Court
Honor Society Board and represented Nova for two years at the
Southern Region National Trial Competition. Chuck was the recipient
of the Krupnick, Campbell, et. all, P.A. Award for Excellence
in Trial Advocacy and also awarded the Order of the Barrister
by his professor for excellence in Trial Advocacy.
Chuck was
admitted to the Florida Bar in 1999. He has been licensed to practice
in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida
since 2000.
Chuck is a
member of the Florida Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association,
St. Lucie Bar Association, Florida Workers Advocates and The Florida
Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association.
Chuck has
been practicing law in the area of Workers Compensation and Employment
Discrimination for the past five years.
He has served as a lecturer for the past two years for Lorman
Education Services on the topics of Employment Discrimination
and Workers Compensation and presented a lecture in 2001 to the
Florida Chapter of the National Employment Lawyers Association
entitled "How to bring a successful Workers Compensation
Relation Claim."
